What is Hypnotherapy?

Hypnotherapy is a method of healing that uses hypnosis to aid in the treatment of various physical and mental ailments. People are guided to be in a trance-like state that helps them focus their minds and become deeply relaxed. Hypnotherapy utilises the heightened awareness of the hypnotic state to help you focus on a problem more intensely. You will be guided by the hypnotherapist to visualise yourself in a state of deep relaxation, even when confronting a phobia or past traumas. The therapist may also make gentle suggestions for behavioural changes that will help you overcome your issues. An exploration of your past experiences may also be encouraged, to talk about the first time you experienced the problem and how you felt at the moment.

Some people may experience dramatic results. In other cases, people may simply feel very relaxed and focussed. Hypnotherapy has shown efficacy in reduction of pain during child birth, reduction in nausea in individuals being treated for chemotherapy and other such conditions.

Studies in the therapeutic uses for hypnosis began in the late 1700s but did not gain scientific credibility until recently. Researchers have made further discovery on how hypnosis can be used, which conditions it can treat and how effective it may be compared to other treatments.

Hypnosis and Direct Drive Compounding Technique

This method works when you are in a trance state and the hypnotherapist gives positive suggestions to the Unconscious Mind in order to resolve the problem. These positive suggestions are compounded using the Direct Drive compounding technique developed by Gerald Kein. Positive suggestions are compounded and reinforced in the client’s subconscious mind, this optimises behavioural changes and helps the client achieve their goals successfully.

Affect Bridge Technique

Hypnotherapy is also used to discover and resolve emotional blockages and reframe feelings and perceptions of the past in order to facilitate progress towards a client’s current goals. The Affect Bridge is a hypno-analytic technique in which the hypnotherapist finds the emotions connected to the root cause of the issue and reframe or release those emotions.

Hypnotic Age Progression

Hypnotic Age Progression is used to move the client forward in time and imagine a new way of doing and being, to gain future benefits that are part of the client’s stated goals. Age Progression is one of the most powerful techniques for promoting rapid change releasing erroneous thoughts and beliefs from the past. It gives the client a vision of how the experience will affect their life in the future and promotes hope and optimism.

Past Life Regression Therapy

The PLRT process is like other therapies that regress to a cause and fixes it. We regress our clients back to an event in their past lives, to help resolve effects on their present-day issues. Along the way, we gather secondary benefits of a personal experience or expanded spiritual perception, that can overcome fear of death and end with the client being more fully in the present moment.

Ultra-Height Hypnosis

Ultra-Height Hypnosis involves first guiding the client as deep as possible into hypnosis. Then the client is guided and directed to continue to relax the body deeper, as the mind is guided to rise higher. The client’s mind is directed to rise well above the level of higher self and into a higher state consciousness where one can find answers about ones-self and the universe. Ultra-Height Hypnosis is also a powerful hypnotic method that may also be used to accelerate the healing process.
